The new 34,000 square foot branch for the bank began in September of 2002. With construction projects, there are times when challenges present themselves, yet it is the solutions which can determine the effect to the project. For example, perched water was discovered at the beginning of the project, which had not been detected through the soils investigation. With the owner's best interest in mind, the Kingery team answered the challenge by diverting the water through trenches leading around the perimeter of the site and emptied the water into sump pits.
